RAC Systems: Superior to Conventional Air Conditioners

As with any product, we, as consumers, are basically interested primarily in one thing: receiving adequate value in exchange for our money. This simply means that a highly competitive producer must deliver more "bang for the buck" to its customers than its competition. Again, as with most products, achieving this level of value (the "bang") requires that a number of factors be brought to bear simultaneously:
  • Application of Significant Advanced Technologies
  • Optimal Product Engineering and Design
  • Superb Manufacturing Craftsmanship and Quality Control
  • Rapid and Efficient Product Delivery and Service
  • Clear and Easy Communication Path for the Customer to the Producer

These guideposts are the foundation of RAC's commitment to its own success as a leader in the field of high efficiency, large-capacity, over-the-road air conditioning systems.

Because all air conditioners must operate on the same physical principals, one of RAC's basic approaches to product superiority is to insure that the components making up our products are not only of the highest craftsmanship and quality, but also embody the most advanced technology and engineering designs available. For instance, RAC's leadership in using the most advanced type of heat exchangers is well known. From the very start, our air conditioning systems were delivered with highly-enhanced heat transfer surface ("rifled") condensers and evaporators. This advancement alone insured that higher capacity cooling is delivered with lower power requirements while also allowing the compressor to operate at milder conditions - an important means of increasing compressor reliability.

Always seeking the best in new technologies, RAC is now offering the most advanced mobile air conditioning compressors ever produced. These new machines, known as Orbital-Vane compressors and produced for RAC by the DynEco Corporation, (www.dyneco.com). These compressors are engineered specifically for efficient, high capacity and highly reliable highway operation. Orbital air conditioning compressors are distinguished from all others in that they have no rubbing parts, are vibrationless and consist of only a few simple components.

Further, due to their no-rubbing design, Orbital compressors do not require cold oil return. Instead, they have a built-in lubricant management system that keeps the lubricant in the compressor and, therefore does not allow oil to flow through the heat exchangers. As indicated earlier, this further increases the heat transfer effectiveness of RA/C condensers and evaporators and produces a general system efficiency increase by avoiding the waste of cooling capacity on oil cooling.

Due to the small size and high capacity of Rifled Orbital-Vane Compressors, a single 20 cubic inch displacement (cid) Orbital replaces two well-established but time-worn 12.6 cid compressors - and produces better performance while doing so. Further, due to their low weigh, some 50 pounds is also shed through the use of DynEco Orbital compressors.

Our superior product design springs from ongoing research and product development programs at RAC blended with both our own experience and that of leading a/c component manufacturers. This close association with our vendors and our exacting product quality standards further assures our own customers that only the highest quality products will be delivered.

Of course, creating the highest quality products is virtually meaningless unless they are available to our customers on a timely and economic basis. Our marketing, procurement and manufacturing groups are dedicated specifically to insure the timely availability of our products. Further, and hand-in-hand, is RAC's deep commitment to rapid and thorough servicing and follow-through when required.

Finally and perhaps most important, it is our goal to make it as easy as possible for our customers to communicate their needs and expectations to us. We have a mature and experienced Master Warehouse Distributor Network dedicated specifically to this important task.
